The entrance sign above the Men’s Shed door had seen better days, and the name has also been changed, so a new sign was ordered and supplied at cost by one of our long-term supporters, SS Signs at Ormiston near Brisbane. Mobile scaffolding was rented for another repair project on the Qld. Branch Building, so we made good use of it to take the old sign off and mount the new one.
The nice new sign, see photos below, now better represents the shed makeup and purpose and will serve us well for the foreseeable future. Our thanks go to the dedicated volunteers on the day for their time and skills, namely Kevin, Wozza, Greg, Roger, and Andy.
