We had great nrews on the 8th of November from Angie Bell, MP for Moncrieff, to say that the QLD Branch had been successful in obtaining funding under the BEST grant to the tune of $138,000. Our funding under the BEST grant has been going down each year since 2018 so we are most grateful to Angie for her representation on our behalf. I might add that we were required to verify our client figures in a statement mid-year to DVA and our response to all the queries gained high praise from VVF HQ in Granville. This grant enables us to provide better service to our clients as we are able to afford better equipment, software and office furniture. We are also able to afford salary expenses with this grant. We have muvch appreciation to Angie Bell as this has helped us a great deal financially.
