The metal workshop is equipped with arc, mig and tig welders as well as a plasma cutter and metal lathe.

The necessary safety equipment to use this machinery is provided. Grinders and a variety of hand tools are also available.

Before a member is allowed to operate any welders or power machinery and hand tools, they must be certified as qualified by our OH&S member and/or our workshop captain.
